Bobcats LEAD
The Bobcats LEAD program is an opportunity to explore your strengths as a leader, as well as gain or refine the skills needed to aid students in their overall success at and beyond Texas State University. Throughout this multi-level experience, participants will have the chance to engage in various opportunities such as attending an overnight retreat, leadership education workshops and networking events, as well as make connections with other Bobcat students. Our goal is to equip students with the necessary leadership skills they will need to become active and engaged student leaders in the Bobcat community.

LBJ Presidential Library Trip
Each year, Leadership and Service partners with the Division of Student Success and The LBJ Presidential Library and Museum to commemorate the signing of the 1965 Higher Education Act by President Lyndon Baines Johnson. 25 student leaders from various departments are selected to serve as campus delegates and engage in activities and discussions with experts on the life and legacy of President Johnson and the various initiatives that he championed.
We believe that the opportunity for our students to listen and connect with leaders who worked with and were inspired by one of our most distinguished graduates will have a profound impact on their own leadership journeys.
