Leadership and Service seeks to provide experiences where students can develop as leaders and make an impact on their community.

Our Learning Outcomes

Through participation and involvement in Leadership & Service programs, students will be able to:

Identify the area of Leadership & Service as a resource hub for leadership education and service-learning opportunities

Cultivate their personal identity by exploring strengths, values and diverse perspectives

Reflect on experiences to learn and shape their future actions

Gain leadership competency to position them for career-readiness

Develop a civically minded approach to the communities they hold membership in during and after their time at Texas State University

Bobcat Build

Bobcat Build's Big Event is Texas State University's annual and largest day of service that allows students, staff, and faculty to engage with the local community through community service projects. For more than 20 years, Bobcat Build's Big Event has served as the university's way of sending a big “Thank You” to our neighbors in Hays County.
