Students at Texas State University can create a new student organization at any time!

Instructions

The student who will serve as the president should complete the Student Organization Application.

  1. Go to the Bobcat Organization Hub and use your TXST login to access
  2. Click the three lines in the upper left-hand corner to open the navigation menu
  3. Select “Organizations”
  4. Click on the button that says “Register an Organization”
  5. Click the blue button that says “Register a New Organization”
    1. Create your organization's profile
    2. Ensure you have all four officers listed: Advisor, President, Vice President, and Treasurer. Names and TXST NetID@txstate.edu emails will be required.
    3. Have your advisor complete the Advisor Acknowledgement Form. Upload the completed form to your registration.
    4. Submit a constitution.
    5. OPTIONAL: Check out our Student Involvement Fair which takes place each semester.
  6. When finished, click “Submit”

Mandatory Trainings

  • This training is state-mandated and is required for all registered student organizations. 
  • One (1) officer and one (1) advisor must complete this training annually. 
  • The attending officer is required to:
    • present the Risk Management Training to their organization and 
    • complete the Risk Management Organization Presentation Form via Bobcat Organization Hub.
  • NEW Financial Literacy training must be completed yearly and will be included within the Risk Management training.

Instructions

  • Log into the Bobcat Organization Hub.
  • Click “Events” and search for “RSO Risk Management Training”.
  • Select the date you wish to RSVP and attend.
    • For Virtual Trainings, Zoom links are provided on the event pages.

In-person and virtual training sessions will take place on the following dates.

    • Wednesday, May 21st 1:00PM-3:00PM (Virtual Zoom)
    • Friday, July 18th 10:00AM-12:00PM (Virtual Zoom)

    • Friday, September 12th 2:00PM-4:00PM (Location TBD)
    • Tuesday, September 16th 5:00PM-7:00PM (Location TBD)
