Venue Rental Funding
Venues can be expensive and the Department of Student Involvement is interested in assisting student organizations in providing quality programming for Texas State students.
Your application will be reviewed using the following criteria:
- Does the program follow the provided funding guidelines?
- Is the program beneficial the the Texas State student body?
- Does the program engage not only individuals of the organization by the university community as a whole?
- Is the program well-planned, organized, and aimed toward success?
- Is selected venue the most effective location for the event?
- Will the organization be negatively affected by the loss of Student Involvement funding?
- Is the program in keeping with the University and Student Involvement mission?
- Has the organization filled out a complete and accurate application?

Be sure that you understand the funding guidelines and that you are prepared to present your venue choice to the Department of Student Involvement before submitting your application. Your application is your opportunity to show us that your venue is deserving of the limited funding we distribute.

How much can an org request?
A maximum of $250 per application.

How will Student Involvement pay for the Venue?
The Department of Student Involvement will directly pay for the venue through an Interdepartmental Transfer.
