An official university-sanctioned activity is sanctioned or sponsored by a university department and that may require a student to be absent from class.
University-sanctioned activities include activities with and without travel.
All student groups that undertake travel 25 or more miles away from San Marcos and Round Rock campuses must be register the travel activity with SI&E.

The SIE Marketing & Communications Team oversees marketing and communication for SIE inclusive of Student Involvement, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Leadership & Services, and Operations & Assessment. The team manages departmental website, creates media content, promotes programs and services, and drives brand and messaging.
