What is the Bobcat Badge?
A semester long initiative designed to enhance your skills as a student organization leader!
You will have the freedom to personalize your development by choosing from various workshops, campus engagement opportunities, and completing self-reflections on your leadership journey

What do I gain from participating?
This experience will give you the key skills like communication, problem- solving, and team management.
You will also have the opportunity to build a strong network and gain valuable insights for future leadership roles.
Upon completion, students will be recognized with a special pin and receive additional swag as a token of their achievement.

How do I sign up?
All you have to do is notify our Student Organization Development and Administration (SODA) Team by completing the linked form.
From there you will be enrolled into the Bobcat Badge Pathway where you can track your progress in the Bobcat Organization Hub under ‘Paths’.
Star Badge
Achievement of the Star Badge includes a certificate and pin recognition at Boko's End of Year Bash

Star Badge Criteria
- Attend one (1) SOLD Workshop
- Request and/or Attend one (1) Leadership Workshop
- Select one experience from the following:
- Participate in the Student Involvement Fair
- Participate in Bobcat Build’s Big Event
- Attend an Athletic Event
- Attend a Campus Program/Event
- Request/attend a Health Presentation for your organization
Maroon Badge
Achievement of this Maroon Badge includes a certificate and pin recognition at Boko's End of Year Bash and Student Leader Branded Swag

Maroon Badge Criteria
- Attend two (2) SOLD Workshops
- Request/Attend two (2) Leadership Workshops
- Complete one Self-Reflection
- What specific challenges did I encounter in my leadership role, and how did I address them?
- What did I learn from these experiences that can help me grow as a leader?
- How did my actions and decisions this week impact the team or community, and what could I have done differently to foster a more positive or effective outcome?
- In what ways did I actively listen to and support the perspectives and needs of others this week, and how did this influence the overall success of our organization?”
- Select one experience from the following:
- Speak at a Student Government public forum
- Participate in the Student Involvement Fair
- Participate in Bobcat Build’s Big Event
- Attend an Athletic Event
- Attend the Bobcats LEAD x SODA Retreat
- Attend a Campus Program/Event
- Plan/execute an organization event/program
- Request/attend a Health Presentation for your organization
Gold Badge
Achievement of the Gold Badge includes a certificate and pin recognition at Boko's End of Year Bash, Student leadership branded swag, & org photoshoot

Gold Badge Criteria
- Attend two (2) SOLD Workshops
- Request/Attend two (2) Leadership Workshops
- Request/ Attend one (1) Leadership Workshop with your Advisor
- Complete two Self-Reflections

- What did I learn from these experiences that can help me grow as a leader?
