Join us for ¡Viva TXST!, the official kickoff to Hispanic Heritage Month at Texas State University. This vibrant celebration honors Latinx culture and community through music, performances, and student engagement. All our welcome to experience and partake in the richness of our shared heritage.

Risk Management training is state-mandated and is required for all registered student organizations. One (1) officer must complete this training annually. Advisors must complete training once every three (3) years. The attending officer is required to present the Risk Management Training to their organization and complete the Risk Management Organization Presentation Form via Bobcat Organization Hub.

This program is for the Fall/Sayers Living Learning Communities, Texas Leadership Scholars and Future Teachers, to learn about the Disney College Program and engage with Disney representatives.

President Kelly Damphousse and Dr. Cynthia L. Hernandez, Vice President for Student Success, warmly invite you to an evening of connection and celebration at Texas State's annual Student Leader Welcome Dinner.

This special event brings together the leaders of our registered student organizations and distinguished campus guests to kick off the new academic year with purpose and pride. Enjoy a catered dinner, network with fellow student leaders, and receive important updates that will help set the tone for a successful year ahead!

This is a required monthly social or service opportunity for the TLSP scholar cohorts. The students will meet as one large group to build cross-cohort connections. The social and service events are planned by the TLSP Director Board.

Bobcats LEAD Retreat is an overnight two-day retreat for emerging leaders to learn foundational leadership skills and meet a network of other students. The Bobcats LEAD Retreats are our gateway event to our Bobcats LEAD Pathways curriculum, a three-step leadership certificate opportunity to help emerging leaders strengthen their skills and find leadership opportunities at Texas State. 

The Bobcats LEAD September Retreat is our larger kick-off retreat that will take place at Camp T-Bar M in New Braunfels. Students will engage in hands-on leadership workshops, participate on a ropes course/team building session and will make lasting connections while enjoying nature and the beautiful retreat space. Students attending the retreats should plan on also participating in the Bobcats LEAD pathways program to receive their leadership certificate.

With limited space this event requires students to apply. Application closes on September 14 at 11:59 PM.

This workshop will prepare Texas Leadership Scholars to pursue internship opportunities.
