Fraternity and Sorority Life - Councils

Purpose

The Fraternity & Sorority Life Review Board is a peer-led board of fraternity and sorority members that upholds the values, policies, and standards of the fraternity and sorority community. The board reviews incidents, concerns, or potential policy violations involving chapters or members, ensuring accountability and fairness across all councils.

The FSL Review Board is a group of passionate student leaders dedicated to helping Texas State’s Greek community thrive. We encourage growth through dialogue and education.

How does it work?

Review and/or Meet

The Board reviews the details of a concern and, if the issue is urgent, invites the chapter to meet.

Discuss and Plan

Together, The Board and chapter discuss what happened, explore solutions, and set growth plans.

Education and Support

The focus is education and support, not punishment—though violations of university policy or law are sent to the Dean of Students Conduct Office.

Sumbit Your Concern

Have a concern about the fraternity or sorority experience at Texas State? Our student-led Review Board invites Bobcats and community members to share feedback. Submit a concern to start a conversation that supports growth, respect, and the values of Fraternity & Sorority Life.
